Can I choose a specific day for delivery?
Subject to availability, Creeside Salmon's despatch days are usually Tuesday and Thursday following receipt of order. In the event of an item being unavailable, we will contact you for further instructions. If a specific date is required, please contact us and we will endeavour to meet your requirements.
How is my item packed?
All our smoked salmon and venison products are freshly vacuum packed. For despatch, most of smoked salmon and venison products are beautifully packaged in insulated, gift wrapped boxes. Some of our smaller packs of smoked salmon will arrive in carefully packed standard packaging.
How will my goods arrive?
For despatch we use FedEx Courier Next Day service for UK and FedEx International for overseas deliveries.
Can I send overseas?
We send to most European countries, Asia, and South Africa, however we cannot send to New Zealand, Australia, Canada or the USA. You can choose you preferred services at checkout. For orders of 10kg or more going overseas, please contact us direct for delivery costs.
Can I send to more than one address?
Our new website has been designed for you to have your own online address book to store all your addresses. Just choose the products you would like to send and then choose the address and recipient for each product. You can even add a message for those items which are gifts. It couldn’t be easier!
Can I collect my order from Creeside?
Yes, we always welcome visitors and once you have placed your order please contact us to collect from Creeside. We will arrange a date and look forward to meeting you!
How much should I serve?
We get asked this question frequently and the answer does vary! A reasonable sized portion is about 55g or 2oz for a starter and double for a main course. However, for extra hungry foodies and if your guests are serving themselves, slightly larger portions would be advisable!
How long will the products keep?
Creeside’s Smoked Salmon will last in the fridge unopened until the use by date as indicated on the packaging. Once opened it should be consumed within 3 days – if it lasts that long! Wild Venison will also last in the fridge unopened for up to 3 days. Once opened, use immediately. The packaging will state whether the Venison can be frozen or not
.
Can I freeze any of the products?
Creeside’s Smoked Salmon can be frozen for up to 3 months in the vacuum pack. Our Wild Venison, unless otherwise stated should be used within 3 days of receipt.
Wild Scottish Venison
This product is either despatched as Fresh Venison which can then be frozen on receipt, or as frozen, to be used within 3 days of receipt. Instructions will be clearly visible on the packaging. The reason for this is to enable a good stock of Wild Venison throughout the year, but obviously, due to it’s nature, it is subject to availability.
